4. Choose A case
We have more than 100 kinds of traditional handicraft cases made by Yamanashi craftsmen.
Choose the type of hanko you would like to make (Hiragana, Katakana, or Kanji) and choose a font. We will help you write your name in Japanese using characters that describe your personality.
5. Choose a pickup time
You can pick up your hanko anytime in the afternoon on the day of the experience. While you're waiting for your hanko, why not explore the beautiful city of Kamakura? From our shop you can go to Hachimangu Shrine, Kamakura Great Buddha, Zeniarai Benten Shrine or Yuigahama beach by foot within about 10 minutes to 30 minutes.
3. Select a material
We will carve your name on acrylic and you can choose the color you like. We can also make your hanko out of gemstones, horn, and wood for an additional cost.
6. ENGRAVING THE HANKO
We engrave the seal at our shop. It takes about 60 to 180 minutes per seal.
